Amway Center prepares for 'Madness'

Workers lay down court, prepare new hoops

ORLANDO, Fla. – Workers at the Amway Center are changing the home court for the Orlando Magic into a national court for March Madness.

Amway Center leaders tweeted out a couple of pictures, showing the changes being made inside the arena. Workers laid down the new court with NCAA logos. The NCAA basketball hoops will also be rolled out within the next few days.

Fans in Orlando will find out the final two teams coming to the Amway Center when the "play-in" games begin on Tuesday.

Albany faces Mount Saint Mary's University in the first "play-in" game Tuesday night. The winner faces the overall top seeded Florida Gators in Orlando at 1:40 p.m. on Thursday.

Following the Albany-Mount Saint Mary's game, North Carolina State and Xavier battle for a trip to Orlando. The winner earns a date with 5th-ranked Saint Louis Thursday night at the Amway Center.
