Orange City boy hits car with bike, cops say

ORANGE CITY, Fla. – A 10-year-old Orange City boy is in the hospital with minor injuries after hitting a car on his bicycle, according to police reports.

Police said the boy was riding his bike down the sidewalk Blue Springs Avenue when he attempted to cross Buford Avenue right as a car was turning down the road as well.

The rider struck the right side of the car and was transported to Florida Hospital, highway patrol said.

Nobody was charged in the incident.
