Clerk 'roughed-up' in convenience store robbery

Deputies searching for two men

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for two men who attacked and robbed a convenience store clerk early Thursday.

The robbery happened at Supermarket ABCD, which is located at 482 W. Oak Ridge Rd.

According to deputies, two men walked into the store just before 1 a.m. and demanded cash from the clerk, who was working alone.

The clerk was then "roughed-up" before he handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies said. 

After the robbery, the assailants, who are described as a white male in his 40s and a black male in his 50s, ran off in an unknown direction.

Deputies searched the area extensively, but were not able to apprehend the culprits.

Detectives said surveillance cameras captured the attack and robbery on video, but it has not been released to the public.
