SANFORD, Fla. – The new Sunrail project could start affecting traffic in Sanford starting on Monday.
Crews have closed West 18th Street at the Central Florida Commuter Rail Corridor tracks beginning Monday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Thursday.

Residents are advised to use Southwest Road and Strickland Avenue as a detour around the work, according to a release.
Crews will then move to Southwest Road to continue track and roadway work. Drivers can use 18th Street and Strickland Avenue as a detour around the work.
