FHP says the OUC truck was traveling eastbound on Pershing Avenue on December 2 when the driver tried to turn left onto Wild Horse Road. Witnesses say the OUC truck turned into the path of a van traveling westbound on Pershing Avenue.

When the van hit the OUC truck, witnesses say the OUC truck was thrown into Gonzalez and a friend, who were walking on the sidewalk.

Troopers say the crash is still under investigation and they haven't determined if anyone will be charged in Gonzalez's death.
