Gunman sought in Orlando convenience store robbery

Surveillance image shows culprit wearing red shirt, camouflage pants

ORLANDO, Fla. – Deputies are searching for the man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint early Wednesday.

The robbery happened around 1:45 a.m. at the Hess Express, which is located at 5511 Clarcona Ocoee Road.

According to deputies, the culprit walked into the store while holding a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk inside.

Deputies said the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register.  The gunman then ran off and most likely fled in an unknown vehicle, according to detectives.

Surveillance images from inside the store show the gunman wearing a white hat, red Adidas shirt and camouflage pants.

Detectives also said the man was tall, with a thin build and wearing red shoes with white laces.

No one was injured in the convenience store robbery.
