Orlando Ballet finds new, clean home

Old headquarters vacated due to mold

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Ballet group has found a new, clean home after being forced out of its old headquarters due to health hazards.

The group's school used to be located in an old Orlando Utilities Commission power plant. However, Orlando Ballet had to abandon the building in August when students and teachers noticed a terrible smell.

After searching for a new home, Orlando Ballet announced on Thursday the school would move to an old warehouse near Loch Haven Park. Ballet leaders also announced Florida Hospital would give the group office space for the cost of $1 per year.
