ORLANDO, Fla. – There will be no repeat for the Orlando City Lions. Central Florida's pro soccer team was knocked out of the USL Pro playoffs Friday night at the Citrus Bowl. The Wilmington Hammerheads scored a 4-3 upset of defending champion Orlando City in the semifinals. The Lions, who were favored to win a second straight title, fell into a 3 - 1 hole in the first half. It was a deficit too much to overcome.
"It was a tough end to the season. We will recompose ourselves and learn from this," said Orlando City Head Coach Adrian Heath after the game.
