Osceola County deputies search for registered sex offender who broke curfew

Man convicted of lewd, lascivious battery violated probation

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Sheriff's detectives are searching for a registered sex offender who violated probation on Tuesday.

According to deputies, Isaac Mota's GPS ankle monitor notified them he was not at his residence during curfew hours.

Deputies say his family last saw him leave the house around 4 p.m. Tuesday driving a 2002 silver Mitsubishi Galant with Florida tag 918MXN. He later contacted them around 6 p.m. saying he was in the area of north Orange Blossom Trail and Lancaster Road.

Mota is described as a 31-year-old black male, approximately 5 feet 5inches tall, 150 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. On Aug. 24, 2007, he was convicted of lewd and lascivious battery with a victim 12-15.

Deputies say that according to his family, Mota has a history of drug use.
