Ronald McDonald House to showcase local eateries at charity event

McDonald's ingredients to be used by Orlando restuarant

ORLANDO, Fla. – After 13 years, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida is ditching its signature clambake fundraiser in exchange for something more diverse.

Instead, the organization will host Appetite for the Arches, where local chefs will test their creativity utilizing McDonald's ingredients. Nearly 15 restaurants will be participating, including Cask & Larder, Luma on Park, SeaWorld Orlando, The Ravenous Pig and other local eateries.

The event, which runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on March 1, will also include drinks, music and a silent auction for the ticket price of $250.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those interested, ranging in donations from $2,000 to $25,000.
