ORLANDO, Fla. – Thousands are expected to attend a public viewing and memorial Saturday for an Orange County Deputy killed in the line of duty this week.
Deputy Jonathan Scott Pine died late Monday night. Investigators say Deputy Pine was pursing 28-year-old car burglary suspect Benjamin Holtermann when Holtermann opened fire. Pine was struck multiple times. Holtermann then took his own life.

Law enforcement officers from around the state are expected to attend the memorial, which will be held at First Baptist Church of Orlando on South John Young Parkway.
Events will begin Saturday with a public viewing starting at 12:15 p.m. A service will follow at 2 p.m. You can watch the memorial streaming live on ClickOrlando.com.
Following the service, Pine's remains will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha. Police are warning drivers to expect heavy traffic along the processional route. That will go from John Young Parkway to State Road 408, then proceed west on the highway to Good Homes Road and Old Winter Garden Road.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to either the Deputy Jonathan Scott Pine Memorial Fund established at Orlando Federal Credit Union, or The Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation.
