The clerk said the suspect didn't imply that he had a weapon, according to a sheriff's office report.

The suspect was described as a white, 6-foot-2, 160- to 180-pound man wearing a cap and sunglasses.

Incidents involving suspects with a similar description were reported in Osceola County on Saturday and Winter Park and St. Augustine on Sunday, deputies said. Each incident occurred at a Publix grocery store.

Deputies urge anyone with information about the suspect to call the sheriff's office at 386-860-7030 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS.
