MAITLAND, Fla. – An 18-year-old was taken to a hospital Monday with a gunshot wound to his chest, Seminole County deputies said.
The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. at a home on East Faith Terrace in Maitland.

According to deputies, the teen was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but his condition was not immediately known.
Deputies said the gunshot wound may have been accidentally self-inflicted or someone may have shot the teen. An investigation is ongoing.
