Tornado watch issued for Central Florida

MELBOURNE, Fla. - The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 5 p.m. Saturday.

Officials said the areas under the watch are Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia, Flagler, Marion and Brevard Counties.

Officials said there is a 70% chance of rain with some storms producing gusty winds and a chance of hail.

Local 6 will be monitoring the weather and will broadcast any weather warnings, updates and damage.
