The sheriff's "Alert" helicopter spotted a white Mazda that refused to pull over on Sunday morning. Deputies say the suspects sped through neighborhoods in a "reckless manner," nearly hitting a deputy's patrol car at an intersection.

Deputies say the car then fled into Volusia County on State Road 415 before returning to Seminole County on Interstate 4.

As the car entered the Bookertown area, video shows the car's close call with a deputy who was throwing stop sticks onto the road.

Eventually, the car came to a stop and the three people inside got out and split up. With the help of the helicopter, deputies were able to locate and arrest all three.

One of the people arrested was 28-year-old Gayland Young. Young was charged with aggravated assault, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, knowingly driving on a suspended license and possession of cocaine.
