EUSTIS, Fla. – A driver captured video of a wild emu as it ran alongside a busy Lake County road Wednesday morning.
The driver, who posted his video to YouTube, said he ran across the emu on State Road 44 near Eustis.
In the video the man first identifies the emu as an ostrich while other drivers stop to take a look at the rare sight.
Toward the end of the clip, a Lake County Sheriff's deputy is seen trying to capture the bird.
The emu is one of two spotted roaming in the area within the past couple days.
