ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Ormond Beach police said they arrested a man who shot a woman in the chest while on the phone with 911 dispatchers.
Police said 57-year-old Jeffrey Goodrich was taken into custody after shooting the woman in the chest.

Police said they were called to 37 Greenwood Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Sunday after Goodrich called to report an intruder.
While Goodrich was on the phone with 911, he was arguing with a woman in his driveway and shot her.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and Goodwin was taken into custody.
Police said Goodrich and the victim had prior history with each other.
Goodrich was booked into the Volusia County Jail.
