LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – A ride at Disney's Magic Kingdom reopened after a small fire ignited.
The Reedy Creek Fire Fighters Association received reports at 8:15 p.m. Thursday of a fire at the Little Mermaid ride at the Magic Kingdom.
Fire officials said fireworks landed on top of the building where the ride is located. The fallout landed on foliage at the top of the roof, officials said.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Officials said the ride was then reopened and functioning.
No injuries were reported.
