CLERMONT, Fla. – An 18-year-old man has been arrested after Clermont police obtained a search warrant Friday for a residence on Powderhorn Place Drive.
Police said officers recovered property from recent burglaries during the search warrant, which lead to the arrest of Joshua McDonald, 18.

The search warrant was obtained based on information detectives received from citizens, police said.
"The Clermont Police Department was able to close several cases with the help of the community," the department said in a statement. "On behalf of Chief Broadway, we would like to thank the community for their continued support."
McDonald was arrested on grand theft, armed burglary, burglary and attempted burglary charges.
