Florida man accused of beating dog to death due back in court

Luke Sribiling, 20, to ask for dog's remains

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando man accused of beating his 4-month-old puppy to death is expected back in court Monday.

Luke Stribling, 20, was arrested in September after investigators say he admitted to punching the puppy when the animal went to the bathroom inside an apartment.

According to court documents, Stribling's attorney is expected to ask for the dog's remains, so the defense can perform its own examination of the dog's injuries.

The hearing is set for 8:30 a.m.
