ORLANDO, Fla. – A 30-year-old man was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of punching an Orlando police horse numerous times.
Korey J. Jerelds was arrested on charges of interfering with or obstructing a police dog or horse.

According to Orlando police, officers were conducting crowd control downtown around 3 a.m. Saturday when a loud verbal disturbance occurred.
An officer on a horse named Mr. George was dispersing the crowd when a man, later identified as Jerelds, yelled an expletive about the horse and took a fighting stance before punching the animal in its neck several times, police said.
Jerelds was arrested and booked in jail.
