ORLANDO, Fla. - A 39-year-old man accused of stalking a hotel employee was arrested early Thursday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the Fairfield Inn and Suites on International Drive around 12:30 a.m. in reference to a stalking, deputies said.

Upon their arrival, the victim told deputies that the first time she saw the accused stalker, George Reif, of Orlando, was Jan. 15, when she said he came through the hotel lobby in only a T-shirt and underwear to get lotion from the woman, according to the arrest affidavit.

The victim told deputies that Reif had called the lobby prior to coming to get lotion, and continued to call her "about sexual stuff" throughout that night, the Sheriff's Office said. Deputies said the woman filed an initial report that evening.

The woman also told deputies that Reif called her two more times Feb. 10, according to the affidavit. She also received several calls while working on Saturday from someone who hung up without having said anything, deputies said. She believed those calls were also from Reif.

Reif showed up to the hotel again around 2:30 a.m. Sunday wearing only his underwear and a baseball hat, deputies said. The victim then filed another report.

Deputies said Reif called the victim again around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and wanted to see her. The woman told the Sheriff's Office that she was scared he would hurt her and wanted him caught. The woman said she told him she wanted him to come over and asked for his information, which she later used to identify him, deputies said.

Reif told the victim that his name was George, gave her his phone number and described the vehicle he would arrive in, the OCSO said. The woman called the Sheriff's Office and provided deputies with the information Reif had given her on the phone.

Once Reif arrived at the hotel, the victim was able to identify him, deputies said.

Reif was arrested and transported to be booked on one count of stalking, according to the affidavit. He was also issued a trespass warning.
