A Deltona father was arrested for allegedly raping a teenager who was at his house for a sleepover.
Ryan Stout, 38, is charged with child abuse and sexually battery without force, according to Volusia County sheriff's deputies.
According to the arrest report, Stout drove his son and his two friends to the liquor store, picked up cotton candy vodka and beer and started drinking with the 14-year-old girl at his home on Providence Boulevard.
When Stout's son and the other friend left the house to pick up food, Stout took the teen, who was intoxicated, into his bedroom and raped her, according to investigators.
The girl later told her friends what happened and Stout's son called police.
The lights were on at Stout's home, but no one came to the door Wednesday night.
Carlton Phillips lives in the neighborhood and said Stout just moved into the home last month. Phillips said he's surprised by the charges.
"(He's a ) very nice guy. From the first time I met him he's a very, very nice guy; I got no problem with him," he said.
According to jail records, Stout has a hold for violating his probation in Brevard County and he has no bond on the rape charge.
