SANFORD, Fla. – A man arrested in connection with a stabbing at a Sanford store was identified Friday by police.
William Edmond was arrested on numerous charges, including robbery with a weapon, armed burglary of a dwelling and fleeing and eluding police.

Sanford police said a Boost Mobile employee was stabbed Wednesday night during a robbery attempt.
When police arrived at the store at 2603 Park Ave., officers found the employee lying injured in the road.
Police said Edmond fled from the store and broke into a home nearby to hide. Police arrested him and took him into custody.
The extent of the victim's injuries was not known.
