LONGWOOD, Fla. – Police are investigating after a person was found dead inside a car on I-4 and State Road 434 in Longwood.
Officers were called to the area around 5 a.m. Saturday after a car was spotted in a ditch along the interstate.
When investigators arrived, they found four people running from the car and one person inside the car dead from a gunshot wound.
The four people who ran from the scene were taken into police custody.
The name of the person killed in the shooting has not been made public.
Police said they arrested Junior Gedeon in connection with the homicide, but so far a motive has not been given.
