HOLLY HILL, Fla. -

Holly Hill police arrested a man they were for after he attacked his friend with a machete Saturday night.

Police said they were called to 1625 Espanola Ave. around 9:06 p.m. Saturday about a man that had been attacked.

When police arrived, they found Luis Castro with several lacerations to his arms and neck, officials said.

Police said Castro was taken to Halifax Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries. He is expected to recover.

Police said they found out Castro had been arguing with his friend, Alexis Adalid Granado Quintero, which escalated into a physical fight.

During the argument, Quintero reportedly went to his car, grabbed a machete and attacked Castro, who suffered the injuries trying to defend himself.

Police said Quintero fled the scene but was found Sunday afternoon.

Quintero is charged with aggravated battery.
