Man dead after altercation at Orlando reggae event

Investigators looking for witnesses, information about incident

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are looking for information regarding an altercation that led to the death of a 31-year-old man at a reggae event.

Police said Karl Bess was injured during the Hyped Reloaded Reggae event at about 10 p.m. on Sunday.

He was transported to a hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

The event and altercation took place at Festival Field next to the Citrus Bowl, police said.

Investigators are asking any witnesses or others with information about the incident to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
