Man exposes self through woman's window

Same man suspected in multiple cases

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for a man who exposed himself in front of a woman's bedroom window, and Local 6 has learned that neighbors suspect he may have been involved in other crimes in the area.

The incidents have happened at the Tuscany Bay Apartments in Orange County near Semoran Boulevard and Curry Ford Road.

In both cases, the man walked right up to a window on the first floor of the apartments. In one case, he dropped his pants. In another, he tried breaking into the apartment. Now, residents told Local 6 a man fitting the same description may have been seen lurking in the parking lot before.

"I saw him and told him, 'What are you doing?' When he heard me, he ran away," said a woman, who didn't want to be identified, but said two weeks ago she found a young man standing on her first floor patio trying to break into her storage area.

She chased him through the apartment complex, but never saw him again.

Now she wonders if that same man may have targeted a woman overnight.

Police said just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, a woman living on the first floor heard tapping at her window. She looked out and saw a man "with his pants pulled down," exposing himself.

The man ran off and did not try to break into her home, but the threat of him loose worries neighbors.

According to a police report, the victim said it was the same man she saw earlier and said "the male was walking two female dogs described as a shiatsu and Chihuahuad mixes."

The woman who spoke with Local 6 said she saw her would-be burglar with two similar little dogs as well, and she's heard from other neighbors that say he's been lurking in the parking lot for weeks. Now, she wonders what he'll do next.

"There's no security here at night," she said. "If they come into my apartment, then I'll worry about it."

The woman who spoke with Local 6 did not report her crime to police, so at this point, police have not linked the crimes.

However, from the exposure incident, police are looking for a man in his early 20s, with a little bit of facial hair, who was wearing a green beanie, blue sweater and green sweat pants, with two little dogs.
