Weston Richard Elliott arrested on drug charges

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – A man found tied up, badly injured and unconscious after a home invasion in Seminole County has been arrested, according to authorities.

The home invasion happened early Friday at a home on Biscayne Court off Dodd Road near Casselberry.

Seminole County sheriff's deputies said at least one intruder forced their way into the home and got into some type of struggle with the man, identified by authorities as Weston Richard Elliott.

Elliott suffered a deep gash on his forehead and his hands were bound with duct tape, deputies said.

He was able to call for help, but emergency workers found him unconscious and took him to a hospital, officials said. He was listed in stable condition.

Deputies said drugs were found in the home, and Elliott was arrested on charges of marijuana possession with intent to sell and possession or use of drug equipment.

It's not known if anything was stolen from the home.

A description of the intruder or intruders has not been released.
