Man injured in Volusia RV fire

Victim taken to hospital after Oak Hill blaze

OAK HILL, Fla. – An Oak Hill man was being treated at a hospital after his recreation vehicle caught fire.

The fire was reported at 9:49 a.m. Monday at the Mosquito Lagoon RV Park on East Halifax Avenue.

A Volusia County sheriff's deputy pulled the man out of the smoldering RV., said officials who added that CPR was administered until paramedics arrived.

The man was taken to Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach.

Volusia County Fire Services and the Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
