James Boswell, of Plant City, died in the crash, which happened around 6:55 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of State Road 528 near International Drive in Orlando, according to the FHP.

Troopers said a van slowed quickly because of traffic and another car swerved twice before striking the front side of the van.  Another car struck the rear of the van, and Boswell, who was unable to stop, rear-ended that vehicle, according to the FHP.

Boswell was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital and later died, the FHP said.

All four drivers were wearing seat belts, troopers said.

All eastbound lanes of S.R. 528 were closed after the crash, as were the off-ramps to eastbound and westbound Interstate 4.

The crash remains under investigation.
