ORLANDO, Fla. – A man died Thursday morning in Orlando after he was found lying on the ground following an apparent shooting, police said.
Derrick Hair, 42, was found around 9 a.m. in the 800 block of West Jackson Street.

According to Orlando police, officers received a call about a shooting and found Hair lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Police said it's not known where the shooting took place.
Hair was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Investigators were gathering information from the scene, but no other details were released.
