Man posing as palm reader groped women outside Walmart, Sanford police say

SANFORD, Fla. – Two more women came forward Tuesday, saying they were also groped by a man posing as a palm reader outside a Walmart in Sanford, according to police.

Zulfikar Jaffer was initially arrested on two counts of battery.  It's not yet known if he's been charged in the other two cases.

Sanford police said Jaffer first approached a woman in the parking lot posing as a palm reader and reached into her shirt, grabbing her breast, according to police.  He then approached a second woman and proceeded to run his hand down the front of the second victim's shirt with the pretense of having her palm read, police said.

Investigators apprehended Jaffer after the second alleged battery occurred.

Jaffer was arrested and taken to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility.
