WINTER PARK, Fla. - Winter Park police arrested a 31-year-old man after they say he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl he met online.
The affidavit for arrest warrant reveals the lengths, police say, Robert Allen Dziekan was willing to go.
The report says the teenager first communicated with Dziekan when she called a Questchat number she saw on TV in an effort to meet friends. Then, the two started chatting on an instant messenger called KIK where he would used the screen name 'Ash R'.
After getting her address, police say for nearly two months, he would show up to her house in work clothes and sexually assault her. The report says he would enter the room through a mother-in-law suite that has a separate entrance.
Winter Park police report the teenager confronted him to which he responded, "I thought we understood each other, I guess not."
The teen went on to tell her sister who told police. Winter Park police set up an online trap, landing Dzeikan in jail with 26 charges.
Neighbors who thought they knew Dzeikan as just the dad next door are shocked. Lois Fray told us, "It's very scary to think that someone that your children play with, someone that you say good morning or good evening to, could be capable of something like that."
Dziekan was arrested on Wednesday night at his home located in unincorporated Orange County and additionally charged with five counts of burglary to a dwelling with an assault or battery, five counts of lewd battery on a victim over 12, five counts of traveling to meet a minor, five counts of seducing a child over the Internet and one count of contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a child, according to police.
Police said the charges were filed in regards to Dziekan traveling to the victim's residence. They are investigating if he had other victims.
