Once officers arrived, they found a woman who had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot injuries standing at the edge of the driveway, Leesburg police said. She told police that her father, Charles Green, had shot her and was still inside the home with her mother, police said.

Leesburg police said they were quickly able to take Green into custody at the front door.

Officers then entered the home to find Green's wife lying on the floor, police said. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Police said her injuries appear to be non-life-threatening at this time.

Police said it appears that an argument began between Green and the victims, which led to Green getting a handgun out and shooting them without warning.

The Police Department also found that the gun Green used to shoot the women had previously been reported stolen.

Both victims were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Green was charged with two counts of attempted murder and grand theft, according to police.
