Man sought after exposing himself to women at Clermont stores, police say

Police search for silver Hyundai

CLERMONT, Fla. – Clermont police are searching for a man who authorities believe exposed himself to two women outside separate grocery stores.

Police said a woman loading groceries into her car at the Publix at 250 Citrus Tower Blvd. was approached by a man who asked for directions to Walmart. When the woman turned to talk to the man, his private parts were exposed, police said.

The woman said she quickly looked away and did not get a good description of the man, but said he was driving a silver two-door car, according to police.

While police were investigating the incident, another case of indecent exposure was reported at BJ's Warehouse at 2577 U.S. Highway 27, authorities said.

A woman said as she was preparing to load her groceries into her car, a similar vehicle pulled up to her and asked for directions to Walmart, according to police.

Clermont police said the man was touching himself inappropriately as the woman started to give him directions.

The woman told the man she would report his license plate to authorities, and the man drove off, police said.

The car was described as a silver Hyundai.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Clermont police.
