SANFORD, Fla. -

Sanford police are investigating a shooting after a man was injured by a bullet that struck an apartment building.

Police said they responded to a shooting at Seminole Garden Apartments at 1600 West Fifth Street, shortly before 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Police said a man sustained non-life threatening injuries after gunshots were fired into an occupied unit. 

Police said the man was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital where he was recovering.

Police said they have two men in custody and are currently speaking with them.
