Man struck by gunfire during altercation at Orlando condos

​Victim in his early 40s taken to hospital

ORLANDO, Fla. – Police are investigating after a man in his early 40s was shot Thursday night at 4868 South Semoran Boulevard.

Police said several men showed up at the Southbrooke Condos and got into a verbal confrontation with the victim.

According to the Orlando Police Department, one of the men began shooting from the parking lot toward the victim's condo, striking him.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where his condition is unknown.

Police said several unoccupied vehicles and the side of the condo building were also hit by bullets.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident.
