CLERMONT, Fla. – Clermont police are searching for a man who robbed a bank at gunpoint.
The robbery occurred around 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Fairwinds Credit Union at 742 Cagan View Road in Clermont.

According to police, the man entered the bank, demanded cash and brandished a semi-automatic handgun.
The armed robber was described as 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, a navy blue mask with the eyes cut out and dark jeans. He was carrying a black bag with a long strap.
He was last seen running in a wooded area on the north side of the credit union.
