Masked gunman ties up Denny's workers during robbery in Central Florida

No customers inside Poinciana restaurant at time of armed robbery

POINCIANA, Fla. – Three Denny's employees were tied up by a masked gunman during a robbery early Thursday in Poinciana.

The robbery happened around 5:30 a.m. at the Denny's at 840 Cypress Parkway.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office, a gunman wearing a ski mask entered the restaurant and demanded money.

The gunman tied up three workers inside the store and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies said.

The employees were not injured, and there weren't any customers in the diner at the time of the robbery, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The culprit was described as a thin man who was wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
