Masked gunmen rob Orlando 7-Eleven

Deputies say duo could be linked to other recent crimes

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two masked gunmen robbed a 7-Eleven in Orlando early Wednesday, and Orange County deputies say the assailants could be linked to other recent similar crimes.

The robbery happened at the 7-Eleven on Sand Lake Road near the Florida Mall.

Surveillance video shows the men entering the store with guns drawn.  The duo forced two clerks to empty two cash registers before forcing one of the employees to lie face down on the floor as they leave, deputies said.

"They're dangerous.  They're armed.  We need to catch them before they do something stupid," Orange County sheriff's Lt. Parks Duncan said.

A detailed description of the thieves was not released.

No one was injured.
