Masked man sought in Deltona bank robbery

No one injured in TD Bank holdup

DELTONA, Fla. – A masked man robbed a Volusia County bank Saturday morning, deputies said.

The robbery was reported around 9 a.m. at the TD Bank at 1212 Providence Blvd. in Deltona.

Volusia County sheriff's deputies said a man wearing a hat, sunglasses and maroon scarf over his face entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. He did not display a weapon, and no one was injured in the robbery, deputies said.

The culprit was described by deputies as a black man, about 30-40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 165-180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants and dark sneakers with light-colored accents. His white hat had a pink breast cancer awareness ribbon logo on it.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money, deputies said.
