A security guard at Renningers Flea Market, at 4835 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. in Melbourne, spotted the trio walk into the business after hours late Sunday, police said.

According to Melbourne police, officers arrived just after midnight and located the suspected burglars hiding in a nearby ditch wearing face coverings typically used by hunters and a zombie-themed Halloween mask. The suspects also had backpacks stuffed with knives stolen from flea market vendors, police said.

At least $300 worth of knives were found in the backpacks, police said.

Officers also used a cotton swab to collect DNA from the teens to evaluate against other potential cases. The three teens were described as "remorseful and cooperative," police reported.

The teens were arrested and taken to the Melbourne police department for further questioning.
