The crater, confirmed by geologists to be a sinkhole, formed outside several stores, including a Publix, near Legoland in Winter Haven.

The sinkhole is estimated to be 70 feet wide and 15 feet deep, but officials said it's growing.

Photos show the blacktop of the parking lot sunken in.

Winter Haven police say there has been no structural damage to the buildings in the shopping center, which also houses a Kmart and several smaller businesses, three of which were evacuated.  The Publix, Kmart and Bealls remain open, however.

No injuries have been reported.
