Jacobs says the county hit historic highs last year with the bond and market performance ratings and that this year was a repeat.
Unemployment is also down, with nearly 100,000 new jobs.
US News and World Report ranked Orange County as one of the top 100 places to live in the US and mayor Jacobs says the county is still leading the country for tourism.
"We continue to dominate the U.S. Tourism Market, welcoming more than 62 million visitors in 2014 and we're anxiously awaiting 2015's numbers," Jacobs said. "I predict it was another record-breaking year!"
Jacobs also touched on transportation and infrastructure with SunRail and Big Drive construction.
As far as the future, Jacobs says the area is brimming with opportunity and promise just in the next five to ten years.
