McDonald's introduces 'McMega' fries
Order of fries contains about 1,200 calories
It appears McDonald's has outdone itself by creating the highest calorie menu item ever.
The restaurant is now offering a 1,142-calorie serving of French fries that many are dubbing the "McMega."
The three-quarters of a pound fries is being launched in Japan on Friday, according to consumerist.com.
The high-calorie menu item is only available in Japan for a limited time.
No word yet if the "McMega" will ever be offered in the United States.
