MELBOURNE, Fla. – Melbourne police investigated a suspicious package found Tuesday afternoon near the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.
The investigation prompted officials to close NASA Boulevard and Airport Boulevard. Anyone going to the airport was advised to enter from the west.

Police said they were taking all necessary precautions until the package is determined to be safe.
The scene was cleared by 3:15 p.m.
