Melbourne school evacuated over smell of gas

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Students at a Melbourne school returned to class after the building was evacuated over the smell of gas.

Roy Allen Elementary School was given the all-clear around 9 a.m. by the Melbourne Fire Department.

Administrators ordered the evacuation after reports of a propane smell emanating throughout the building.
