ORLANDO, Fla. - For many, it was a final goodbye to 10-year-old Marisol Gonzalez, who will be buried in Puerto Rico where she was born.
Saturday night her family and friends paid their respects at a memorial in Orlando.
Gonzalez was hit and killed by an Orlando Utilities Commission truck as she was walking home from school with her older sister.
Gonzalez was taken off life-support Wednesday.
Saturday night, several of her friends went to the corner where she was killed and brought stuffed animals, because they say Gonzalez wanted to be a veterinarian.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the OUC truck turned into the path of a van traveling westbound on Pershing Avenue. The OUC truck was then thrown into Gonzalez.
Troopers say the crash is still under investigation and they haven't determined if anyone will be charged in Gonzalez' death.
