But future Miami Dolphins stars may wear a much different team uniform as soon as next year.

The Palm Beach Post is reporting that the Dolphins have discussed a logo and uniform change with the NFL for the 2013 season.

Miami's traditional Dolphin-passing-through-the-sun look has been a uniform constant since the franchise began play in 1966. Dolphins CEO Mike Dee told the Post that the change won't be drastic and that the team won't change colors or remove the sun from the helmet.

The team made subtle changes to their look in 1997.

Any changes to a team's uniform or logo for the 2013 season must be submitted to the NFL by November.
